Manuka WonderRub appears to be helping my partner's eczema - Amanda, UK
My partner (47 years old) suffers with eczema at the top of his legs which is incredibly painful for him. He has tried everything to the point where the only thing that was giving any kind of relief was a bizarre ritual of having the shower as hot as he could stand and spraying his thighs with the water - this numbed the skin to the point where he got some respite from the irritation and pain. He had tried every cream going and nothing was working. A couple of weeks ago, the company I work for introduced a new range of products, amongst them was a product called Manuka WonderRub, I had used it successfully on a couple of burns I got in the kitchen so I suggested giving it a go. I cannot believe how quickly this stuff has worked. After just three applications, two last night and one this morning, he is no longer in agony. It hasn't gone completely but the inflammation has gone - mainly because he no longer feels the need to scratch until he bleeds and I am convinced if he continues with the application it may clear up completely. I have no idea if this can work for everyone, but it isn't expensive and I really felt the need to let people know about it. (November 2011) Contact Amanda
Saponaqua's natural therapy bar has worked - Sarah, Leeds, UK
I am 28 years old and have suffered from eczema since I was 13. It first appeared on my joints, such as elbows and between the knees; however, luckily it does seem to have eased with age.
In my late teens I also contracted psoriasis and went to numerous hospital appointments and I was prescribed many lotions and potions which were all extremely greasy and foul smelling - not ideal for a teenager! The psoriasis finally eased, and I now just have re-occurring patches of eczema to contend with on both my elbows and wrists, as well as small patches on my face and eyelids. I have tried many creams for these, both prescribed and organic (a lady who made
the cream herself, on the internet!), but have never really found anything that I am totally happy with. Firstly, the scents of the prescribed medicines are extremely off-putting, and I have also tried many with an extremely thick greasy consistency, which I find difficult to apply.
I have recently begun to use the Saponaqua Natural Therapy Bar and I am really pleased with the results. I have tried many different cleansers on my face in the past, but as my skin is so sensitive, they have caused a variety of problems. I really like both the texture and the scent of the bar and find it seems to really nourish my skin. It is easy to use in the bath or shower and I
find it great for things like shaving my legs as my skin feels really moisturised afterwards. My dry patches have definitely improved since I have started using it.
I have also been using the body balm daily, and I am really impressed with it. I now keep this jar in my handbag and take it with me, leaving the thick prescription cream at home. I find it's really easy to apply and it smells good, which is definitely a bonus when applying it when out and about. My eczema can go through stages of been extremely red, inflamed and itchy, but the balm has improved this dramatically. I have even been able to use this on extremely sensitive areas which I have really struggled to treat in the past, such as my eyelids, and have had no problems at all. (September 2009) Contact Sarah

Hope's relief cream helped - Charlotte, London, UK
My daughter suffers from eczema, and I have tried, as no doubt many other parents has, cream after cream, in hope they worked. I have finally found one which works. Hope's Relief cream has transformed her skin. Hope's is completely natural, has specific homeopathics and antibacterial Manuka honey. Her skin flared up initially, as the homeopathic ingredients got to work, this is normal, but after 4 days, it settled again, and now, after 6 weeks, I just maintain her skin. It feels more supple and moist. (July 2007) Contact Charlotte
I made my ewn product - Jennifer, Arizona, USA
I have an 11 month old baby who developed eczema on her face and torso. I hated to use prescription products, but it started to itch her so badly, she had scratches all over her. I tried Vaseline only, Aquaphor, Eucerin, all sorts of other OTC lotions/creams with no success. Reluctantly, I used low dose steroids while I researched other options. Taking into account everything I read, I couldn't find a product to buy that had all the ingredients I wanted, with no fragrance or preservatives. So, I bought all the ingredients, combined them, and within a week, she was completely better. If I don't use this lotion twice a day, her skin suffers. I combine raw unrefined Shea butter, coconut oil, evening primrose oil, Neem oil, emu oil, Jojoba oil and hemp seed oil. In the evenings I put Eucerin cream over - the Eucerin is thicker, and helps my cream stay put. I just wanted to help those who want a natural remedy. I haven't had to use any steroid cream or anything other than this for over a month. (March 2007)
