Meet our Open Clinic on Eczema Experts
Our experts have a wealth of knowledge and information they can share with you in our Open Clinic on Eczema. From 3–10 November the forum opens for questions and then from 13–19 November the forum is open for discussion with the experts.
They will discuss the issues surrounding life with eczema, share tips and ideas, and will clear up some of the common misconceptions about living with dry skin conditions like eczema.

Dr Antony Crockett BM DA DRCOG FRCGP CAS (Allergy) FPCert GP in a rural practice in Oxfordshire, and also works as Hospital Practitioner in the Respiratory Medicine Department in Swindon. Dr Crockett has a great interest in respiratory medicine, especially asthma, and in allergy. He has published over 200 articles on these subjects, as well as 3 textbooks (Managing Asthma in Primary Care, Managing COPD in Primary Care, and Asthma: Your Questions Answered). He has obtained the Certificate in Advanced Study in Allergy (with distinction) from Imperial College London in 2009 and has been the on-line contributor to Middleton’s Textbook of Allergy, 2003-2008, and contributed for many years to an esteemed American medical website e-Medicine. Janet Keyworth - Clinical Nurse Specialist Janet is a Clinical Nurse Specialist and has worked within Dermatology for 18 years. She runs clinics in the hospital setting and also within the Community. One of the main conditions she sees is eczema and her role is to offer Health Education and support as well as providing a care plan on how to manage the condition. |

Joyce Adero - Advanced Nurse Practitioner My name is Joyce Onyango, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Lead Nurse for Dermatology at the Milton Keynes NHS Foundation Trust. My role involves patient education, demonstration on how treatments are applied and follow up to reassess progress and compliance. I encourage my patients, carers and parents to be able to self manage their condition and be in control. With 7 years of dermatology experience I feel honoured to be part of the eczema talk forum and to share my professional experience with the public. |
